The American streaming network Netflix, the home to some of the world’s biggest shows
has announced new price increments for UK and Ireland customers.
This move is to facilitate the investment in the production of high and quality content and explore more services like series, documentaries, and films its members love and also invest in talent and the creative industry.
According to the streaming network, the increments will be minimal as the basic plan in Ireland will increase by one euro, whilst the standard and premium subscriptions will go up by two euros each.
In terms of billing, existing subscribers will receive notification by email 30 days before the new price takes into effect but it is immediate for new members.
