Apple Released iOS updates to Fix the Battery Drain Issue.
Apple has released iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1, minor updates to the iOS and iPadOS 15 operating systems. iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 came barely two weeks after the launch of iOS 15.4.
This is a result of the problem some users were facing when they updated to iOS 15.4.
According to Apple, the update fixes some of the particular issues that could cause the battery to drain more quickly than expected after updating to iOS 15.4.
It also includes fixes for Braille devices that may become unresponsive while navigating text or displaying an alert

The iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 updates can be downloaded for free and the software is available on all eligible devices over the air in the Settings app. Thus from iPhone 6s and higher. iPad Air 2 and higher.
Apple has also released new tvOS 15.4.1, HomePod 15.4.1, and watchOS 8.5.1 updates to go alongside the iOS 15.4.1 update.
Apple annual hardware and software event is around the corner. As expected new hardware device and software update will be announced.

The Minister for Communications and Digitalisation, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has announced an extension to the deadline for the
SIM re-registration exercise to September 2022.
According to the minister, the extension had become necessary due to the various challenges registrants are facing to complete the exercise. One major factor can be attributable the issue or acquisition of their national identification cards.
This has led to several calls on the government and the ministry to extend the exercise to September 30.
“Upon consultation, Government has decided to grant a final conditional extension. The programme will be extended to September 30 to end on the anniversary of its commencement, that will give us one full year of SIM re-registration,” the minister stated.
“It will be reviewed at the end of this month [July] and any SIM that has not been fully registered by the end of August will be barred from certain services including voice and data. It will also be more expensive to use unregistered SIMs,” she added.
The full range of punitive measures, the Minister noted will be announced at another press briefing which will be held in September this year.
